A metropolis called Telos is planned to be built from scratch on an undeveloped site in the western United States covering more than 60,700 hectares.
Buildings will be constructed from “green” materials, and facades will be covered with vegetation. Residents will primarily get around on foot, and the city’s transportation system will include bicycles, slow-moving drones, a suspended monorail, and air taxis.
It is projected that 5 million people will live in this eco-friendly metropolis by 2070, and the project itself will set a global standard for urban living for future generations.
